RGi attends Virginia Tech Computer Science career fair

Reinventing Geospatial®, Inc. (RGi®) recently sent a group of our talented software engineers to the Virginia Tech Computer Science Resource Consortium Career Fair on January 29th. Our engineers met and led engaging discussions with more than 65 undergrad students interested in securing future learning opportunities in the engineering and geospatial fields.

RGi currently offers a wide variety of positions, including May 2018 full time positions, Summer 2018 internships and 2019 Co-Ops. Learn more about RGi’s career opportunities here.

RGi CEO Stephen Gillotte discusses career planning with Virginia Tech students

In preparation for his new role on the Virginia Tech Computer Science Department’s Advisory Board, Reinventing Geospatial®, Inc’s (RGi’s®) CEO Stephen Gillotte spent time with the Virginia Tech Computer Science Resources Consortium (CSRC).

Steve participated in several student events where he met with all levels of undergrads to discuss life after graduation, working with recruiters, how to negotiate offers with both small and large companies, as well as the everyday challenges of the work environment. During these exchanges, Steve emphasized the value of having a personal brand, community activism, extracurricular activities, and the importance of continuous learning throughout a career.
